Internship Job Title: Assignment Desk
Background
I found out about the internship at WJAR NBC10 through friends and the URI Internship website. I have always been interested in television journalism and my friends that interned there absolutely loved it. I had to send a resume and a letter in explaining why I was fit for the internship and why I was interested in the internship. About a month later I received a phone call and had a telephone interview. After the interview I was hired. I am really excited about the internship because its not too far away from school and its exactly what I want to do with my major. I hope to learn lots about a television studio and how everything produced. I really believe I am going to learn a lot in this internship.
